In view of the ongoing haze situation in Johor and in alignment with advice from the Vice-Chancellor Office, please be informed that the Management of UniKL MITEC has decided to extend the Online Class Mode for all teaching and learning activities from 19 October 2026 until 23 October 2026. 
This decision is taken to continue safeguarding the health and well-being of all students and lecturers.

FLYsiswa: RM400 Flight Ticket Subsidy for Students

Great news for students! ✈️🇲🇾

The Government, through the FLYsiswa initiative, is offering a RM400 digital flight ticket subsidy to eligible Malaysian students pursuing their studies at selected higher education institutions.

This initiative aims to help ease the financial burden of students, particularly in covering domestic travel costs between Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and the Federal Territory of Labuan.

🎫 Subsidy Value

RM400 Digital Voucher

✈️ Voucher Redemption Deadline

31 December 2026

Students may check their eligibility status at http://subsidiudara.mot.gov.my/. Eligible students can then apply for and redeem the voucher through participating airlines.

For students who are not eligible, an appeal may be submitted through their respective educational institutions by 31 August 2026.

NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ROUTE CHANGES AND PARKING AREA CLOSURES FROM 21-30 AUGUST 2026

Please be advised that internal campus traffic is expected to experience congestion due to the UniKL Arts Festival 2026 (UAF). To ensure safety and smooth flow during the event, the Health, Safety & Environment Unit (HSES) has issued the following updates:

🚗 1. ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ROUTING
Location: Entire Campus Area
Date: 21 August 2026 – 31 August 2026
Details: All traffic within campus grounds will be converted into a one-way flow system.

🛑 2. PARKING AREA CLOSURES
Locations:
Lecture Hall Parking Area (Ruang Parkir Dewan Syarahan)
Parking Area Between Student Centre & Main Hall (Ruang Parkir Antara Pusat Pelajar dan Dewan Utama)
Date & Time: 25 August 2026 – 31 August 2026 (8:00 AM – 11:59 PM daily)

⚠️ Action Required:
All staff, students, and visitors are requested to vacate the specified parking zones during the closure period and plan your trips around campus accordingly to avoid delays.
